1 Inch Scale Case 80 hp

Well, what can we say, we have not seen a Maxitrak 1" Case in a long time on the second hand market, really lovely to have this one come back into us and in such good condition too.

Bit of a rarity as we only made the one batch, with no plans to re-produce this model in this scale in the near future. An opportunity to own one of these sought after models!

This model is based on the traction engines produced by the Case company in the USA. These engines were built from the mid 1800s to the early 1900s and are typical of the style used by many American manufacturers.

It has a single cylinder mounted on a cast frame, and a constant mesh gear drive with a clutch mechanism built into the flywheel. There is full spring suspension on the rear axle with the gears kept in alignment by a swing link system.

The model is gas fired with twin flue burners, and superheater. It comes complete with the dome, feed water heater and governor as detailing.
