5 Inch Gauge SE & CR R1

A bit of a rarity. The first in a long line of 0-6-0 designs produced by Maxitrak.
We originally chose the R1, not only for its local ties but for the incredibly nice lines and Victorian styling.

A good size model capable of running in a graden railway environment or just as happy at a club track. Large enough for hauling and small enough to manouver easily. This particular model, despite being 10 years old is in tip top condition. It has the optional steam injector fitted, shows very little wear in the mechanics and the bodywork is in near perfect condition.

Standard equipment includes displacement lubrication hand pump in the bunker and crosshead pump. Full boiler history, including southern federation paperwork from new.

We don't see these in this gauge very often and don't expect this one to hang around for very long.
