Bassett Lowke Factory Steam Plant

This beautiful Bassett Lowke factory steam plant is prewar, model No 2/FD. Consiting of a large Babcock boiler with burner for steaming the Tangye horizontal engine, which in turn has a crank driven water pump for filling the boiler.

The engine drives a Stuart Turner dynamo (original fitment) which feeds the two lamps mounted to the base. The plant comes with a copy of the original advertisment and the metal filling funnel.
