Simplex Brass project 5in

Well known and popular 5" Gauge Simplex locomotive, this has everything you could want, small enough to handle, big enough to do some haulage, this is a 90% complete project, made local to us and the attention to detail is second to none, so many parts very well made, professional certified copper boiler, it ran great on air and the builder obviously wanted to give the model enough weight to do some haulage as the super structure is made entirely from 1.5mm brass plate, its built to last! in the written information i have from the builder it states all large mechanical parts are case hardened with bearings surfaces polished and having a good pull on the rods its beautifully finished. 

A really good project will all the major hard to complete items done well, pro boiler, no scrimping on materials this is a really good project! If we had the time I would consider putting it through the workshop here but as usual, too many projects not enough time!
