5 Inch Gauge Freelance Electric Locomotive

This is a heavy duty, 5 Inch project locomotive, a brilliant base set on a steel angle chassis with a slightly out of scale wooden body. Includes 4 12v axel mounted motors and very robust bogies.

Definitely not the prettiest locomotive we have seen but a really good foundation for an engine ready to do some serious hauliage. A controller can be added at additional cost, with several options available.

Repairing or replacing the body work would make a perfect winter project and has the potential to produce a lovely 5 Inch gauge model.
