5 Inch Gauge Sweetpea - Black

A well know design and a good size narrow gauge model, for anyone not familiar with the design it has a marine fire box which is not strictly a standard locomotive design, so it looks odd in the cab with the ashpan and grate mounted within the rear of the boiler. That said they steam well, with good access backhead and plenty of power to do some good haulage!

This model has a few non-standard, nice features like the running boards with little oil caps, it ran great on test, boiler tested fine with southern fed certificates. A really well sorted model. Includes injector, hand pump, axel pump & mechanical lubricator. The paint work is a bit tired, but nothing a lick of heat proof wouldn’t sort!
