SE & CR R1 Tank engine 7 1/4in

Factory painted and lined, built from a kit, the owner did lots of improvements to make the model his own but the really eye catching thing is of course putting it in the traditional black "47 A" livery, anyone from this part of the world knows this model was one of the Folkstone harbour models, very well known in these parts!

Our model gives a really good compromise in looking correct but also being easy to use, combined with our TIG welded all copper boiler it’s a hard model to surpass. Very free steaming, this model has displacement lubricator, injector, crosshead pump, hand pump, additional work includes, standard pop off safety valves, reworked braking system, different cab mounted whistle, twin blowdowns, twin water gauges, larger super heater flues, re-routed blower pipe, water level indicator on the tank, lever mounted cylinder drains.

Also included in this sale is a ROR 4 wheel drivers truck with water tanks and fitted for PNP vacuum system (not supplied).

This model is pratically new only being built and test run so this is a great opportunity to get a well thought out R1, still one of the nicest model we make, ready for the rails!
