Simpson's & Shipton's Short Stroke Engine of 1851. Designed by Anthony Mount, drawings included. Never seen one of these before, a real rarity and fully working!

The machining is done well to a good standard, mounted on a nice wooden base, ran well on air! what a lovely piece to have on show on compressed air or steam!
